I started Tarantula in 2018 to simplify the rotopaint outsourcing process. To put it simply, Tarantula is a combination of code that runs on a webserver and on your personal desktop, which reduces countless steps in getting your shots where they need to go. Tarantula partners with top-level rotopaint artists around the globe to get your work completed extremely quickly and at the highest level of quality.

My role at Tarantula is to ‘guide the ship’. While I write little bits of code here and there, all of the magic that makes the platform run is written by our talented dev team. It’s my job to create the wireframes / UI’s, prioritize what needs to be done next, project what our clients will need, diagnose any frustrating problems to our customers, reach out to new clients, etc. Occasionally I’ll also have something insightful to say on the pipeline side.
